The only splicing tool in the world to cover all splicing functions on a vessel is provided by Selma, its set of fids (needles) are made from highly polished stainless steel.
Manufactured with safety on board in mind, this patented set of five fids will handle yacht line and hollow braided lines from 3.5 to 14 mm diameter as well as three plait twine or rope up to 28 mm diameter.
