Description

The preferred method of installation for the Trogear bowsprit is to install a hinge tube through the bow of the boat, it is usually located approx 50mm down from the deck and between 250 and 300mm aft from the bow, the fibreglass tube is then glassed through the hull, although the A-sprit is still removable.

In other cases, such as yachts with a bow roller then deck mounting the A-sprit works better, there are 2 standard mounting brackets available: The "L" type and the "U" type
